Mrs. Shaw’s adventures in education began in 2004 when she completed her Bachelor's Degree in …
Black History,
Social Science,
Pan African Diaspora Studies,
and English,
followed up by an MS in
Cross-Cultural Education
with an emphasis in curriculum design in 2005, and an M.Ed. in
Urban Educational Administration in 2007.
Her educational background was the initial framework for inspirational careers in diverse academic and advocacy settings. Ms. Shaw is a Mindfulness Educator, Community Doula, a certified 500-hour Childrens and Adult Yoga Instructor, a Board Member for Valley Mountain Regional Center, a community activist, root worker and a priestess of Yemaya.
